Since 2001 Kate has been involved in bringing music to the elderly and dementia sufferers. She has recently worked with W.N.O and Cardiff Alzheimer's Society to form a choir that encourages Dementia sufferers and their carers to sing together
Working for The Council for Music in Hospitals and now for Lost Chord, she has given over 1000 concerts in which music is used as therapy to stimulate the memory and has found it the most rewarding way to use her voice.
Kate has performed with many different people including professional Harpist Amanda Whiting at Lost Chord concerts.
